you own a Sikorsky helicopter and need to purchase parts for
it, the place to call is W & G Machine Co., Inc. This Hamden
based manufacturing company offers a wide range of new helicopter
custom parts to customers all over the world. The V.P. of Operation,
Mr. Noel Mara, recently joined the Eli Whitney team of Job Shadowing
and WBL mentors. Two of our seniors in Manufacturing Technology,
Monica Aguilar and Andre Wilson, have been selected to receive
training with the company during shop cycles. They will learn
how to become parts inspectors in the quality control department
and how to manufacture internal panels for helicopters. If they
pass the training, they will be considered for employment after
they graduate.
