Special Education Teacher Patricia Ripley, authored and published her first children's book titled "Mi Abuela." (My Grandmother). The storyline for "Mi Abuela" is about the experience a young girl has with her grandmother as they spend a day together exploring the island of Puerto Rico and the relationship that develops. Ms. Ripley wrote the story entirely in prose. Even though this is her first published story she has been writing poetry and prose most of her life. All of us at Eli Whiteny are very proud of Ms. Ripley.
