The Student Council would like to thank all students and staff from Eli Whitney who helped us collect 891 pounds of food.  All the food that was collected was given to FISH of Greater New Haven. FISH delivers over 8000 bags of food to needy individuals and families each year. Every pound of food helps someone in need so once again teachers and staff we would like to thank you for the encouragement you gave your students, and the food you brought in yourself.  Students we want to thank you and your families for giving to other kids and families that are less fortunate than you.  On Thanksgiving you should be happy that you helped others.
