“FAFSA Workshop”

Mr. Louis Bristol, Northwestern Connecticut Community College’s Director of Financial Aid Services will explain the financial aid process to parents and students and will use the computerized FAFSA in his programs.

 

During this workshop we will walk you through the process of filling out a FAFSA form. With the aid of a computer, parents and students will be able to complete a FAFSA form, Profile and aspects of financial aid.

 

This is a must for seniors and the parents of seniors applying for financial aid to any Post Secondary Studies whether it is a 2-year or 4-year College in Connecticut or any other state.

 

Parents and Students will need to bring the following information to this work shop.

 

Parents need to bring:

  • Social Security Number or Alien Registration Number
  • PIN Number for FAFSA
  • W-2 or end-of-year pay stub
  • 2009  Federal Income Tax form (if filed, substitute 2008 if not)
  • Current Bank Statements
  • Date of Birth of Parents
  • Driver’s License

 

Students need to bring:

  • Social Security Number or Alien Registration Number
  • PIN Number for FAFSA
  • W-2 or end-of-year pay stub
  • 2009  Federal Income Tax form (if filed)
  • Current Bank Statements
  • Driver’s License Number (if applicable)

OWTS will Host a FAFSA / Financial Aid Night Workshop

Seniors/parents and / guardians are encouraged to attend.  Mr. Lou Bristol, Director of Financial Aid at Northwestern Connecticut Community College will guide us through the process of filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and you will complete the FAFSA during this workshop.

We will have (1) individual from each household working at a computer filling out the on-line FAFSA form.

Note: You must have a PIN Number for FAFSA before you attend this workshop.
