Automotive Technology Instructor Builds Hydrogen Generator

Hydrogen technology has been in use for nearly a century. With today’s gas prices approaching the $4.00 mark, it is becoming a viable alternative to the gasoline engine. Wright Tech’s Master Technician and Auto TechiInstructor Frank R Shafer produced his first hydrogen generator.

Mr. Shafer searched the Internet and was intrigued with all the different ideas for hydrogen technology. He found one under “free energy” and thought it was worthy enough to replicate.

Mr. Shafer incorporated many changes to the hydrogen generator he developed such as tripling the layer of windings, and fabricating an atmospheric pressure switch. Mr. Shafer was getting about 30 MPG on his 97 Jetta…AFTER the hydrogen generator was installed. Along with a fuel warmer, he gained approximately a 70% increase in fuel mileage. Although this will vary from car to car, the thought of saving on fossil fuels is fantastic!
