Dan
Malarkey, a Senior in the Electrical program,
recently started to work at Northeast Electric in
Stamford, CT. Northeast Electric is one
of the biggest electrical supply companies in Stamford.
“I
enjoy the job – I
get to build on my knowledge from Wright Tech,” says Dan.
By filling orders and going to sites where electrical work is taking
place Dan says knows every piece of electrical
equipment and what it is used for by heart. Because
Stamford is home to many corporations, Dan frequently vists major
companiessuch as Oracle, Purdue-Frederick,
and the GE Corporation to deliver parts.
The Manager of Northeast Electric,
Scott Brown says, "Dan is a fast learner and we rely on his
knowledge to service our customer quickly and efficiently.”
Dan plans to continue his education after graduation and possibly pursue a degree in electrical engineering. |
