Wright Tech Transformed into Movie Set

This summer, Wright Tech was transformed into a movie set for the upcoming Oprah Winfrey production "For One More Day". During two days the school was used for some scenes in the movie which stars Ellen Burstyn and Michael Imperioli (of The Sopranos). The school was renamed J.M. Bright for the movie with the Hairdressing/Cosmetology shop becoming "Makeup Central". The extra's hairstyles and clothing evoked the early 60's.  The Theory Room became "Wardrobe" and all the extras met in the cafeteria to receive their instructions from the director. The scenes were shot in the gym and Cubeta Stadium.
