Tuition:

If you are a registered apprentice with a valid state apprentice ID card listing your current employer and are taking a state apprentice program class:

• • Tuition: $325 per in-person course; $345 for online course*
  • Non-refundable Registration and Technology Fee: $50

If you are a registered apprentice taking a course outside of your state apprentice program or are not a registered apprentice:

• • Tuition: $350 in-person course; $370 for online course*
  • Non-refundable Registration and Technology Fee: $50

Certified bank checks or money orders are accepted. No personal checks, cash or credit cards will be accepted. Please make certified bank check or money orders payable to: Treasurer, State of Connecticut.

*A $20 Tech Tutor fee applies to online classes. The Tech Tutor provides onboarding for new students and emergency technology support during classes.

Enrollment and Registration Period:

• Enrolling in Our Program:
  • New students are strongly encouraged to enroll in the school online first – this is a required step before registering for classes. A mandatory 24-hour hold is applied between enrolling in the school and registering for classes. The Online Enrollment Link will open September 1.
• Register for Classes:
  • Class registration opens September 2 and runs through September 11. Registrations may be completed online via PowerSchool. Register for classes via the Course Request Form.
  • Paper registration forms will no longer be accepted.
  • If enrollment or registration assistance is needed, adult ed staff will be available at the school locations September 2 through September 11, only during the times listed below:

• Payment Methods:
  • Only Cashiers’ Check, Money Order, or Bank Check will be accepted.
  • Electronic payments (e.g., Credit/Debit Cards, Apple Pay) are not currently accepted.
  • An invoice can be printed at registration; a receipt will be provided at the time of payment.
• Minimum Enrollment Policy:
  Courses with fewer than 7 students may be cancelled, transferred, or combined and offered at another location.
• Outstanding Balances:
  Students must clear and pay all unpaid balances before registering.
• Transfer Credits:
  Students wishing to transfer in credits (e.g., Basic Math Computations) must submit:
  • Official transcript
  • Syllabus
  • Theory hours
    Documents should be sent to the Adult Ed Supervisors for review and approval.

Class Schedule:

• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• Duration: 12 weeks
• End Date (Tentative): December 11, 2025
  (Subject to change based on weather or school holidays)

Course Descriptions:

In-Person: In-person courses take place on campus, with students and instructors meeting face-to-face in a physical classroom.
Hybrid: Hybrid courses combine in-person and online learning.
Asynchronous: Asynchronous courses are fully online and do not require students to be online at the same time.
