The Career Center facilitates the connection between employers, students and alumni from CTECS’ 20 locations, ensuring seamless communication and recruitment processes. Employers seeking to recruit CTECS talent can access a variety of recruitment tools through the virtual Career Center. These include:

Unlimited Job Postings: Employers can post an unlimited number of job openings to attract CTECS talent.

Resume Database Access: Access to a database of resumes allows employers to search for qualified candidates based on specific criteria.

In-Person or Virtual Hiring Events: Employers have the option to request either in-person or virtual hiring events to connect with potential candidates.

Priority Notification of Career Fairs and Events: Employers are among the first to be informed about upcoming career fairs and related events, providing them with opportunities to engage with students and alumni.

Brand Promotion and Student Engagement: Employers can promote their brand and engage with students through various channels, fostering connections and increasing visibility.

Invitations to Program Advisory Committee Meetings: Registered employers receive invitations directly to program advisory committee meetings. These meetings offer a valuable opportunity to network with teaching staff and gain insider access to top talent within CTECS.

Lifetime Access to the Career Center Virtual Platform: Alumni registered with the CTECS Career Center enjoy lifetime access to the platform, providing a gateway to ongoing engagement and career opportunities.

Participating in Recruitment Activities: Alumni can post job opportunities or represent their businesses or employers in career fairs.

Hiring Work-Based Learning Students: Alumni can support current students by offering work-based learning opportunities, providing valuable real-world experience.

Mentorship: Serving as a mentor to current students can have a significant impact on their personal and professional development. Alumni can offer guidance and support to help students navigate their career paths.

Hosting Job Shadowing: Alumni can host current students for job shadowing experiences, offering insights into various industries and career paths.

Sharing Career Experiences: Alumni can share their career experiences by speaking to classes or participating in speaker panels, inspiring and informing current students about potential career paths.
