CTECS Spotlights Alumni Eric Preneta, Currently a Launch Pad Specialist at SpaceX

Eric Preneta, 2011 Platt Tech graduate, sat down with CTECS to talk about his current position as a Launch Pad Specialist for SpaceX and how his tech school education prepared him for the role.
“No matter what I’ve been exposed to and learned along the way, everything ultimately goes back to those experiences… and fundamentals this program taught me,” Eric told CTECS. He also delves into his role at SpaceX explaining, “I’ve worked on human flight missions both on the construction side and launch side, one of the highlights of my career was being able to have my hands on the Inspiration Mission that launched the first commercial crew of astronauts to space.”
