The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System’s (CTECS) District Technology Plan guides our educational technology initiatives. This comprehensive plan is designed to enhance student learning, support educator development, and align with both state and national educational technology standards.

Overview of the District Technology Plan

The CTECS District Technology Plan aims to improve learning by providing accessible and effective technology for all members of the school community. Key components of the plan include: Integration of technology across curricula, development of technology learning environments,  professional growth opportunities, and community partnerships. These initiatives are supported by a dedicated District Technology Committee, ensuring that CTECS remains at the forefront of educational technology integration.

CTECS’ technology initiatives are aligned with the Connecticut State Educational Technology Plan (2024–2028) and national standards, focusing on technology-enabled learning, open educational resources, and digital equity.
