With the new platform, you will be able to access a database of employers and alumni in your trade who are eager to engage with you and your students – whether it’s hiring, joining your PAC, making donations, hosting field trips and more. The virtual Career Center will save you time and effort in employer engagement by providing curated contact lists tailored to your needs.
Additionally, the virtual Career Center will feature an enhanced job board that is now searchable by trade and location, making it easy to find relevant opportunities for your students. Automatic digital invitations will help ensure that employers, especially those new to CTECS, are engaged in PAC meetings, career fairs and other events.
Students will receive automatic access to the platform as early as freshman year, enabling them to familiarize themselves with local companies in their trade area, like and follow company profiles, and receive notifications about job postings and events right to their inbox. With features like mock interviews and resume builders, students can start their career journey early and get excited about joining CT’s workforce from day 1 at CTECS.
The platform will also offer a comprehensive listing of career-related events from around the state, keeping you informed about valuable networking and professional development opportunities.
