E.C. Goodwin Technical High School sophomore Zachary Butler is one of Bristol’s 2016 Outstanding Youth Volunteers. He and other honorees were recognized on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, in the City Council Chambers at Bristol City Hall.

“I am extremely proud of Zachary for showing the wonderful civic traits we work to instill in our students,” said Daniel Mello, principal of Goodwin Tech. “Giving back to our communities is an important character trait and Zachary has gone above and beyond,” he added.

Butler is a student in Goodwin Tech’s Precision Machining Technology trade program. He volunteers in Bristol at the food shelter.
